Coxley Olympic Games 2024 (Sports Day)

Wednesday 5th June

We hope that you are looking forward to attending this year's Sports Day. Parents and extended family (Grandparents etc.) are all welcome to come along and support.

Spectators will be able to take their seats on the school field straight after drop off in the morning. The Friends have kindly offered to serve refreshments throughout the morning. Donations gratefully received (cash only).

The opening ceremony will be taking place at 9:10am on the school field and Coxley Olympic Games will commence thereafter.

Please could children arrive in school wearing their school uniform. Children can change into their PE kits upon arrival in school. Please ensure your child has their PE kit and trainers in school.

We are expecting it to be a sunny day and therefore would recommend parents apply sun protection cream before school which can be reapplied as necessary. We also advise that the children wear sun hats/caps to further protect them.

Water bottles are essential for hydration, please ensure that your child has a bottle of fresh water with them on Wednesday.

We anticipate the Olympic Games will finish at approximately midday. Depending on how things go, it could be slightly earlier. The children will be having their lunch afterwards at normal time.
