We are a popular school and take many children from out of our catchment area.  If you would like to enquire about a place at our school for your child, please contact us to arrange an informal discussion or visit.

If you would like your child to join an established year group, the process will take no longer than 10 school days. Parents can download a copy from the documents below or pick up a form from the school office  and hand/post it to directly to the school office. We will contact you within 10 days to let you know if you have been successful.

Where an application has been refused in any year group, the child will be placed on a waiting list. This will be kept strictly in order of oversubscription criteria by the Local Authority, as the Admission Authority, and the child will remain on the waiting list until the end of the academic year in which the application was refused. Parents are responsible for informing the Admission Authority of any changes in their circumstances, which could affect their place on the waiting list.

If you are unsuccessful you may decide to appeal. If we are oversubscribed in the year group or school we follow the Somerset County Council admission criteria and policy which can be found on the link below and in the 'School Admissions' document. Further information may also be requested from the school office.
